Please Note: Because of the lightweight materials, this greenhouse is not suitable for windy or exposed areas. In these circumstances we recommend a glass greenhouse which is heavier and will remain grounded. This greenhouse is also not supplied with a floor, so for greater stability it should be constructed on an appropriate concrete or slab base.

As long as there is access to a stable 90 degree wall and the room to attach your Lean To, the product shines in small gardens, larger balconies, or courtyards. Features

This 8x4 Lean To features clear polycarbonate glazing that makes it ideal for showing off your plants to any onlookers and keeping a close eye on their progress. The material is lightweight and thin but virtually unbreakable, and is resistant to discolouration and clouding over time. Because of this, polycarbonate panels are an excellent finishing touch to the solid aluminium structure attached to a galvanised steel base.

An adjustable vent window on the Lean To's upper panels adds some further versatility to your growing area. Combined with the hinged single door, the vent provides adequate means for reducing the heat and humidity that can build up within your greenhouse on scorching summer days.

Another handy feature brought over from Palram's other greenhouses is the built-in guttering system. This collects any rain that falls onto the Lean To's roof panel and diverts it for easy collection in a water butt or other container.

Accessories

Palram's expertise in putting together garden structures that are highly practical extends to their range of accessories. Despite the more limited options of a smaller structure like the 8x4 Lean To, we recommend adding the Two Tier Staging to your order. This unit features two shelves that cumulatively hold up to 200kg in weight (upper shelf up to 160kg, lower shelf up to 40kg), assuring a stable platform for any pots or tools. The staging makes a great add-on for your Lean To because it can double your potential growing space by stacking your plants, and allows excess water to drain away.

For those gardeners to whom efficiency is key, a Drip Irrigation Kit can be exceptionally useful for watering thirsty plants without needing to access them with a watering can. The piping that comes with the kit can be cut down to tidily fit your setup, and the droppers provide a filtered and steady stream of water.

Additional Information

The 8x4 Lean To requires a stable 90 degree wall to be mounted against. Assembling the Lean To is made simple with the manufacturer's written instructions. Once the galvanised steel base is in place, the aluminium frame will soon come together and the polycarbonate panels finally slot in place. Customers find the assembly process takes a day, or several hours for more DIY-minded types. Once assembled, enjoy the fact that your Lean To requires little maintenance, thanks to an aluminium frame that is corrosion-free and a secure galvanised steel base.

Delivery

ALL DELIVERIES ARE DELIVERED TO KERBSIDE OR DRIVEWAY.This product is delivered flat packed, direct to your home and is supplied with a set of instructions to support assembly.

If you have ordered more than one item, they may arrive at different times.

For customers in certain areas (e.g. Scotland and Wales) the timescale may be slightly extended. Please note lead times are counted in working days (Monday to Friday) excluding Bank Holidays.

About the Delivery

Towards the end of the timescale (please refer to the website for your chosen product?s lead time), you will receive notification by the courier that your order has been dispatched. Your order will be delivered by one of the following carriers (we are unable to supply information on which carrier is being used for your order): DX, Panther, DPD or Tuffnells.

If delivery is by DX, it is an all-day service (8am to 6pm), you will be contacted with a text message the working day before delivery confirming your delivery date.

If delivery is by Panther, you will receive a text message the working day before delivery with your delivery date and an estimated two-hour time slot.

If delivery is by DPD, delivery information may come by text or email the working day before delivery. On the day of delivery, you will also be contacted with an estimated one-hour delivery window.

If delivery is by Tuffnells, it is an all-day service (8am to 6pm), you will be contacted by email the working day before delivery.

Please note that both elbec and Palram will be unable to supply any further information on your order during this timescale.

Upon Delivery

Your order will be delivered kerbside or on your driveway. Due to health and safety, and insurance liabilities, the driver will not be able to take your goods to the back of your property but upon request may place the product at the side of the house if there are no access issues. This is to avoid risking damage to your property while delivering to an unsafe location. We will not be able to go through your property.

We recommend against arranging for a third party to install the product before its delivery and checking that all parts are present, and we cannot be held liable for any third-party costs caused by delays.
