The 7 x 7 Mercia Premier Corner Summerhouse is an ideal way to turn any dull corner of your outdoor space into the talking point of the garden. With this Premier version of the Mercia Corner, owners have the addition of a tongue and groove roof and floor, which adds extra sturdiness and is widely considered a more attractive alternative to the solid sheet board used in the standard Mercia Corner.

Our customers often like to add their own personal touch by painting their summerhouses, which look fantastic in many colours. Many manufacturers recommend that you use Protek paint, available from elbec in a wide variety of colours. By using Protek Royal Exterior, you can make the Corner look exactly how you want it while adding extra protection to the timber. Whether you love bold and bright colours or a more natural wood finish, Protek has a colour to suit any taste.

Features

The Mercia Premier Corner includes a number of features that make it an excellent choice for your garden. The building is constructed using high quality 12mm shiplap tongue and groove cladding. This is supported by 28mm x 28mm framing. Not only does this all look great, but it ensures that you have a durable and sturdy summerhouse that is also well protected from the elements and snug on the inside. Its curved profile is just another feature that not only adds to the overall look of the Premier Corner, but it promotes the runoff of rainwater.

With two fixed full-length windows on the sides and glazed double doors on the front, the bright and spacious feel this gives the interior really allows you to be one with the outdoors. The windows and doors are glazed with styrene, an environmentally friendly choice that is a shatterproof, safer alternative to traditional glass. The double doors are also secure and lockable, (key included) providing extra security when leaving items in your summerhouse. Airy and open during the warmer months if you throw open the double doors during the day, but also secure and lockable for storing away any items during the colder seasons, you are sure to appreciate the valuable new space in your garden.

With the wide, open views provided by the Premier Corner’s design, you will be able to enjoy all the benefits of the outdoors without the downsides of British weather. The roof and floor of the Premier Corner are made from the same high quality interlocking boards as the walls. Additional Details about Your Order

All Mercia Summerhouses are supplied untreated. You must apply a wood treatment to the exterior. Many manufacturers recommend Protek wood treatment, available from elbec in many different colours. This will protect the timber from weathering, making it last longer. The timber treatment will need to be repeated periodically in line with the manufacturer's instructions.

Your 7 x 7 Mercia Premier Corner Summerhouse will be supplied flat-packed so that you can assemble the shed at home, with all the parts and fixtures needed to complete the building. elbec recommends putting your shed together with the help of an extra pair of hands, and leaving a whole day to make sure you have the time to finish your shed. Those who have not had much DIY experience will be pleased to know that a detailed and clear instruction manual is included with your order.

Delivery

ALL DELIVERIES ARE DELIVERED TO KERBSIDE OR DRIVEWAY. All of our Mercia products are delivered flat packed other than fence panels (which are delivered fully constructed), direct to your home, and are supplied with a set of instructions to support assembly.

Booking Delivery

You will be required to book your delivery date at the time of placing your order (except for Metal Shed). Our 'Request a Delivery Date' service is available to the majority of areas and you'll find that the majority of the UK postcodes are FREE but some areas may incur a delivery surcharge and some postcodes are not covered at all. Select a 'requested delivery date' by entering your postcode in the 'Request a delivery date' section above. You will also be notified at this time if your area incurs a surcharge or delivery is not covered in your area.

Prior to Delivery

On the morning of your delivery date, you'll be sent an update by text with an estimated 2-hour delivery slot (this update can only be provided where a mobile number has been supplied on the billing address section at the time of checkout) together with a link to the manufacturer delivery portal where you'll be able to track your order.

Please note: Mercia Metal Sheds ONLY - your order is delivered by a courier you will not be notified prior to the delivery. If you are not in on the day of the delivery you will be carded and asked to contact the courier to arrange a new mutual delivery date. The estimated delivery lead time for Mercia's Metal sheds is identified on the product for the metal shed. Lead times are on working days (Monday - Friday) excludes Bank Holidays. These estimated lead times are provided by the manufacturer. Some remote areas will take a little longer.

Upon Delivery

Your order is delivered either kerbside or driveway and will be delivered on either a 3.5T, 7.5T or 18T Lorry. Unfortunately due to health and safety and insurance liabilities the driver will not be able to take your goods around to the back of your property but may upon request place the product at the side of the house if there are no access or restriction issues. We would not risk damaging your property whilst delivering a product to an unsafe location. Unfortunately, we will not be able to go through your property.

We would recommend against arranging for a third party to install the building before it's been delivered and checked that all parts are present, as we cannot be held liable for any third-party costs.

Orders with Assembly 

The lead time for our installation option is around 7 Weeks from the date of order. With the installation option, the majority of orders will have their delivery and installation on separate days; there will be a small number of orders which will have delivery and installation on the same day. You will be advised by the manufacturer's installation team which category your order falls into.

Depending on the installation option for your order, you will be contacted within the delivery timescale and given a date for either delivery/assembly on the same date or a separate date for delivery and assembly.

"Arrived exactly on time (7am) as expected. Delivery driver (Ryan) very helpful and would not permit any assistance from me. Very good build quality and delighted with the end result. Self assembled by me and my wife and found the instructions were a bit vague - particularly about securing the window panels to the door frame. (Not as easy as it sounds). Suggest you use the shed boot kit (optional extra) even on a solid base and nail ALL of them down or they WILL fall off (I used 1" steel ovals). I painted the underside of the floor and the roof with fence paint to increase the waterproofing before assembly. All screws supplied loose in the same bag so be prepared to sort them by size before starting the build. Some of the trim battens were unusable due to severe warping but fortunately my local B&Q is in walking distance. Delighted with the end result, treat it like a 3D jigsaw and don't rush it. Be prepared to improvise sometimes. Overall, very pleased with the product and the company. A couple of very minor niggles, but recommended. IainG"

Shed arrived at stated time. All in good order. Son and husband erected it relatively easily although they decided to put a few brackets where screws were indicated. We have now painted inside and outside and we are very happy with both the summerhouse and the price we paid. Thank you.
