ALL DELIVERIES ARE DELIVERED TO KERBSIDE OR DRIVEWAY.This product is delivered flat packed, direct to your home and is supplied with a set of instructions to support assembly.
If you have ordered more than one item, they may arrive at different times.
For customers in certain areas (e.g. Scotland and Wales) the timescale may be slightly extended. Please note lead times are counted in working days (Monday to Friday) excluding Bank Holidays.
About the Delivery
Towards the end of the timescale (please refer to the website for your chosen product?s lead time), you will receive notification by the courier that your order has been dispatched. Your order will be delivered by one of the following carriers (we are unable to supply information on which carrier is being used for your order): DX, Panther, DPD or Tuffnells.
If delivery is by DX, it is an all-day service (8am to 6pm), you will be contacted with a text message the working day before delivery confirming your delivery date.
If delivery is by Panther, you will receive a text message the working day before delivery with your delivery date and an estimated two-hour time slot.
If delivery is by DPD, delivery information may come by text or email the working day before delivery. On the day of delivery, you will also be contacted with an estimated one-hour delivery window.
If delivery is by Tuffnells, it is an all-day service (8am to 6pm), you will be contacted by email the working day before delivery.
Please note that both elbec and Palram will be unable to supply any further information on your order during this timescale.
Upon Delivery
Your order will be delivered kerbside or on your driveway. Due to health and safety, and insurance liabilities, the driver will not be able to take your goods to the back of your property but upon request may place the product at the side of the house if there are no access issues. This is to avoid risking damage to your property while delivering to an unsafe location. We will not be able to go through your property.
We recommend against arranging for a third party to install the product before its delivery and checking that all parts are present, and we cannot be held liable for any third-party costs caused by delays.

Write A Reviewso you start putting it together the extruded aluminium manufacturing is pretty good, and once you start sliding the extremely flimsy panels into the aluminium supports and start fixing it all together you slowly come round to realising its not to bad. I.E never have to paint or look after, as others have said read instructions over and over, it was breezy when I did it but needed only some help from partner.
Doors are noisy obviously if left open and what I'm mostly worried about is if the side panels will rattle lots in moderate winds annoying the neighbours?
as also said really disappointed with the base as its just polycarbonate on concreate so makes crunchy noises when walking over if it would have been a solid rubber base would have been so much better, plus it needs covering with rubber, carpet, wood, whatever to make walking on it safe.
overall I'm still in two minds if i should have got wood for about same price, I'm lazy so in long run plastic probably better.
obviously only being ally supports most people will be racking this out as you wouldn't/couldn't hang anything on the plastic or supports without a decent wooden subframe inside, which is cheap and easy to do.
eventually sides may need siliconing up to remove rattling and after 1st rain pour i can confirm 99.9% water proof as some blew in where where side panel meets upturned base/floor, again some remedial strips of ally along the outside or whatever is at hand will finish off where it meets the ground.
if I wasn't lazy for the upkeep of wood i'd buy a wooden shed, but being grey. maintenance free etc etc this isn't a bad spend, guessing it could be a lot cheaper though for what you get."

I purchased a 6 x 8 Palram SkyLight Shed from Elbec Garden Buildings, and it was delivered really quickly and in perfect condition. Assembly of the shed is really easy, but as suggested, needs two people to keep it steady during assembly. Once completed it is really sound and secure. I’m really pleased with it and recommend it to anyone who is thinking of buying one."
The delivery time of the plastic shed was acceptable considering the issues caused by Corona virus. Husband managed to erect the shed on his own with just a bit of help from myself holding panels together while he screwed. The shed is a bit flimsy but adequate for our needs and looks good from the outside. I would have scored an extra star but there are some screws missing and we are concerned that should we get windy weather the shed could blow down and possibly blow away. I have emailed elbec several times and phoned them but no sign of the screws. I was told they were despatched 6 days ago. I appreciate corona virus is causing issues but I am only waiting for 10 screws that could be sent in normal post

We bought a plastic shed as the price was good and we were fed up with the maintenance costs of our wooden one. The delivery was quick and efficient the shed went to well leaving a great sturdy shed and add long as you follow the instructions or all goes to plan the sealing of the roof as apex is essential. Also securing shed to the ground helps give the shed a more solid feel. Be aware no screws in box to attach shed to ground.

The skylight roof is amazing - it lets in much more light than the glass windows in the side of a wooden shed. The shiny finish inside is nice, and from the outside the shed looks very smart.
Overall, the build was fairly straightforward, and most of the instructions were clear and simple.
Cons -
Some of the instructions only make sense once you’ve made a mistake and re-read them with the benefit of hindsight.
The three sections of the floor do not click together or seal, so there are gaps to trip over or loose small items into. (I’ll be laying a rubber floor covering to resolve this).
Overall -
It’s a good shed, but you really do need to take the time to study the instructions, and make sure your base is perfectly flat and level. Also, a socket wrench will make things a lot easier than using a spanner!

It took time to erect but when finished you have a good shed. You do need to follow instructions and if you do it all goes together with relativity well. Looking forward to many years.
