Description

The compact size of the Suncast 6 x 4 Stow-Away Garden Storage Unit makes it ideal as an unobtrusive storage solution. Its low-profile design also means it can be positioned against a wall or fence and does not take up too much garden space.

Features

The Stow-Away Plastic Storage Unit from Suncast is designed in a modern peppercorn colour with a black lid and floor. It is perfect for storing children’s toys, outdoor cushions, bicycles, and garden tools. The Stow-Away Storage Unit is made with steel-reinforced, UV resistant, multi-wall resin panels that have been engineered for maximum strength. The advantage of the durable resin finish is that it is both rot and rustproof. This Suncast product is the ideal storage solution if you are looking for something which does not require painting, which means you can use your product immediately after it is assembled.

If you have garden items that need protection from the elements, the Stow-Away Plastic Storage Unit is ideal. Its stay dry design will protect your belongings and stop any issues such as rot. Peace of mine prevails with a heavy duty floor with an access ramp for ease of entry. The two front opening doors and lifting lid allow easy access to your items. The lid has gas struts that assist opening, so you can lift the lid with just one hand and the lid will stay open while in use. Additionally, the Stow-Away’s lid has a soft-close hinge that is designed to prevent the lid from closing too quickly or slamming shut.

The Stow-Away Storage Unit has a resin lower latch which helps keep doors closed and includes a locking system to which you can attach your own padlock, allowing you to secure the contents.

Base Requirements and Anchoring

The Stow-Away Storage Unit should be sited on and anchored to a firm and level base. A concrete base is recommended for this size of storage unit, although a wooden framed base is an alternative. Anchoring bolts are not supplied with the Stow-Away Storage Unit.

You will require: Four 3/8” anchor bolts and four 3/8” x 1” flat washers to anchor it to a concrete base. Or if you are anchoring it to a wooden framed base, you will need four 3/8” Lag Bolts and four 3/8” x 1” flat washers.

Assembly

Your Stow-Away Storage Unit will be supplied with full instructions and all the components and fittings needed to assemble it. The product is easy to assemble and requires minimal tools.

Delivery

ALL DELIVERIES ARE DELIVERED TO KERBSIDE OR DRIVEWAY AND ARE FLAT PACKED READY FOR ASSEMBLY

Booking Delivery

Delivery is by courier you will not be contacted prior to delivery. If you are not in on the day of the delivery you will be carded. You can then contact the courier to arrange a new mutual delivery date. Delivery is between 7am to 7pm. Your order is a kerbside delivery and will be delivered on a 17 ton lorry (the size of a Refuse Cart). Unfortunately due to health and safety and insurance liabilities the driver will not be able to take your goods around to the back of your property.

The estimated delivery lead time for this product is identified on the product page above. Lead times are in working days (Monday - Friday) excludes Bank Holidays. These estimated lead times are provided by the manufacturers and are not guaranteed - due to fluctuation in demand - but are provided in good faith and are representative of delivery at that time. Some remote areas will take a little longer.
