Features
It is constructed from polycarbonate panels built around a sturdy aluminium frame. These materials, although lightweight and easy to handle, come together to make a really sturdy building once erected. The other real advantage of polycarbonate is that it is exceptionally difficult to break or shatter, is waterproof and is very low maintenance, needing no treatment and only the occasional wipe down to keep it looking its best. The panels are even UV treated to prevent fading, discolouring or cracking over time.
An innovative slide and lock panel system makes constructing a Palram shed as straightforward as possible. The unique skylight roof panels allow in light whilst remaining “opaque” from the outside. In short, this means that light will enter your shed during the day to make finding things easy, but your belongings will remain safely hidden away from prying eyes. A sliding padbolt is supplied, to which you can attach your own padlock, allowing you to further secure your shed’s contents. Hinged double doors allow easy access, even for larger items that you wish to store.
Unlike many similar metal or plastic sheds, Palram sheds are supplied with a robust, “easy-grip” floor, keeping your belongings dry and preventing slips and falls when entering after wet weather. Delivery
ALL DELIVERIES ARE DELIVERED TO KERBSIDE OR DRIVEWAY.This product is delivered flat packed, direct to your home and is supplied with a set of instructions to support assembly.
If you have ordered more than one item, they may arrive at different times.
For customers in certain areas (e.g. Scotland and Wales) the timescale may be slightly extended. Please note lead times are counted in working days (Monday to Friday) excluding Bank Holidays.
About the Delivery
Towards the end of the timescale (please refer to the website for your chosen product?s lead time), you will receive notification by the courier that your order has been dispatched. Your order will be delivered by one of the following carriers (we are unable to supply information on which carrier is being used for your order): DX, Panther, DPD or Tuffnells.
If delivery is by DX, it is an all-day service (8am to 6pm), you will be contacted with a text message the working day before delivery confirming your delivery date.
If delivery is by Panther, you will receive a text message the working day before delivery with your delivery date and an estimated two-hour time slot.
If delivery is by DPD, delivery information may come by text or email the working day before delivery. On the day of delivery, you will also be contacted with an estimated one-hour delivery window.
If delivery is by Tuffnells, it is an all-day service (8am to 6pm), you will be contacted by email the working day before delivery.
Please note that both elbec and Palram will be unable to supply any further information on your order during this timescale.
Upon Delivery
Your order will be delivered kerbside or on your driveway. Due to health and safety, and insurance liabilities, the driver will not be able to take your goods to the back of your property but upon request may place the product at the side of the house if there are no access issues. This is to avoid risking damage to your property while delivering to an unsafe location. We will not be able to go through your property.
We recommend against arranging for a third party to install the product before its delivery and checking that all parts are present, and we cannot be held liable for any third-party costs caused by delays.

We bought one of the 12x6 skylight plastic sheds. Initial delivery time good, arrived before expected. However, disappointed with floor and panel quality. It took 11 hours to erect with the most vague instructions even those parts that are numbered don’t always correspond to the pictures on the instructions, poor quality, and this was near impossible with just two people. There was also a very slight breeze which made it even harder as the panels would constantly blow around, you are always in fear of the panels snapping until you have the main struts in! However It is spacious and neat, but we will see how it fairs in the winter months. Not recommended."
Delivery from Elbec was very quick, even considering the current Covid situation. Delivery straight to my chosen point in the garden which was appreciated. Two large boxes. I erected the shed in about 6 hours. It is amazing how, once constructed, the product is very sturdy and practical.
