Features

It is constructed from polycarbonate panels built around a sturdy aluminium frame. These materials, although lightweight and easy to handle, come together to make a really sturdy building once erected. The other real advantage of polycarbonate is that it is exceptionally difficult to break or shatter, is waterproof and is very low maintenance, needing no treatment and only the occasional wipe down to keep it looking its best. The panels are even UV treated to prevent fading, discolouring or cracking over time.

An innovative slide and lock panel system makes constructing a Palram shed as straightforward as possible. The unique skylight roof panels allow in light whilst remaining “opaque” from the outside. Delivery

ALL DELIVERIES ARE DELIVERED TO KERBSIDE OR DRIVEWAY.This product is delivered flat packed, direct to your home and is supplied with a set of instructions to support assembly.

If you have ordered more than one item, they may arrive at different times.

For customers in certain areas (e.g. Scotland and Wales) the timescale may be slightly extended. Please note lead times are counted in working days (Monday to Friday) excluding Bank Holidays.

About the Delivery

Towards the end of the timescale (please refer to the website for your chosen product?s lead time), you will receive notification by the courier that your order has been dispatched. Your order will be delivered by one of the following carriers (we are unable to supply information on which carrier is being used for your order): DX, Panther, DPD or Tuffnells.

If delivery is by DX, it is an all-day service (8am to 6pm), you will be contacted with a text message the working day before delivery confirming your delivery date.

If delivery is by Panther, you will receive a text message the working day before delivery with your delivery date and an estimated two-hour time slot.

If delivery is by DPD, delivery information may come by text or email the working day before delivery. On the day of delivery, you will also be contacted with an estimated one-hour delivery window.

If delivery is by Tuffnells, it is an all-day service (8am to 6pm), you will be contacted by email the working day before delivery.

Please note that both elbec and Palram will be unable to supply any further information on your order during this timescale.

Upon Delivery

Your order will be delivered kerbside or on your driveway. Due to health and safety, and insurance liabilities, the driver will not be able to take your goods to the back of your property but upon request may place the product at the side of the house if there are no access issues. This is to avoid risking damage to your property while delivering to an unsafe location. We will not be able to go through your property.

We recommend against arranging for a third party to install the product before its delivery and checking that all parts are present, and we cannot be held liable for any third-party costs caused by delays.

"Excellent website with good selection of products. I chose a 4x6 plastic /aluminium shed on the basis of lower cost than wood and it does not rot or require any further treatment, plus it looks not bad for a shed!
Decent quality and instructions clear and easy to understand. Worth knowing that it is light enough to build and be carried into position by two people. If located in the open it definitely requires securing to the ground. Quick delivery, good price and product, would use again."

"Delivery was prompt and arrived within the time frame offered, although recieved no text/email on the day to say it was arriving. Luckily it’s lockdown so I was in.

Shed is perfect what I need. Using in an alcove in the garden to store huge rattan sofa cushions and the kids toys. Stuff I need easy access too. I bought this as it requires no maintenance and no painting which is great considering you can only see the front of it where I’ve placed it.

Other half put it up with his dad, said it was a pain. No heavy lifting to do but fiddly.

It seems very flimsy and I have to lift the door up half an inch to reach the lock - probably because it’s on limestone pavers which aren’t entirely level. Does the job for what I need it for though.

If you want a shed to store lots of heavy garden equipment that would be leant or hung up, then I’d advise getting a wooden shed instead.

Only had a couple of weeks but seems water tight so far. "

"First of all, this shed looks good. It's fairly easy to assemble, but I would recommend two people. The instructions aren't always clear enough, but aside from the odd scratch of the head are fairly straightforward. The panels do feel a bit flimsy and even when assembled, leave me wondering just how much force it would take to break into them. That being said, it is a good looking shed and a bargain at the price I paid. One other word of advice that I am going to repeat from the manual - you do really need to have a firm, flat base on which to assemble. Any deviation will adversely affect assembly and stability."

Palram 6x4 Pent Shed arrived within a week of ordering to the Highlands, delivered free of charge with no heafty surcharge. That in its self is great.
The shed was straight forward to put together following the instructions and the list of metal parts is in the order you use them. I put the shed up myself, a woman in her late 60's in a day although would be easier with two but it's lock down! Roof let's in good light."
